| Introduction | Our journey began in September 2011 when we went in for our 18 1/2 week ultrasound and started learning that things were "wrong." Through the course of the next several weeks, we were told that Noelle had a fatal condition and would never survive the pregnancy. It wasn't until a much later ultrasound in the middle of November that the doctors started seeing significant changes and gave us hope for the first time, even calling Noelle a little "miracle baby." Our little miracle was born one day shy of 29 weeks on December 8, 2011, weighing only 12.55oz.; and since that time, we have been riding the roller coaster through the NICU and PICU and adjustments now at home. We appreciate so much your concern and prayers for us. We know that God's plan has already been determined, but it is an incredible comfort to have so many "walking alongside us" in this journey and upholding us in prayer. We continue to rest in Him and take this journey one hour, one day at a time. |
