| Introduction | I am a potter. I make objects that are non-utilitarian. The clay serves as a canvas for my drawings which are usually marine-life oriented. I draw on the surface of the objects I make and then carve out the background leaving the drawing in low-relief. I love the outdoors. I love the quiet and solitude. I enjoy moving over the water in a kayak or canoe. I like the feel of a cool breeze in my face. I like to see the sun rise each morning. I enjoy seeing all the incredible diversity of life in the wild (not including mosquitoes and biting flies). |
