| Introduction | A NASM Certified Personal Trainer, PiYo Live instructor, and runner who believes that a healthy lifestyle is one that enables you to spend each day to it's full potential, rather than chained to rules and standards that are always beyond reach. This is a truth I learned through a season of crash dieting and exercise regimens that kept me from truly living. I was undernourished, tired, and too distracted with maintaining whichever new diet plan I believed to be worth it, to have the time for enjoying the company of those around me. In short, there's nothing heroic about tallying up numbers on a scale and counting endless calories. Coming out of this unhealthy mentality finds me wanting to help others find pride in what their bodies are capable of instead of fixating on everything we think is wrong, or repeating crash diet cycles.
