Introduction | Christopher L. Istace started writing in his early teens in his hometown of Whitewood, Sask., Canada. He worked in print journalism for several weekly newspapers in Saskatchewan, Canada, covering everything from federal elections to senior citizen club gatherings. However, his success is found in writing feature articles. He is a four-time Sask. Weekly Newspaper Award winner. Today, more than 25 years after his first article went to print, he works on a freelance basis. In November, 2014, he published his first novel, "Paco's Provision." Besides writing, Christopher plays rhythm guitar and sings in a country-rock band called The Old 21. His other interests include sports, kayaking, hiking, hunting, fishing, reading and independent film. Christopher currently lives in Southeast Saskatchewan with his wife, Coral, and two children. |
