IntroductionI am a part-time student at the University of Regina majouring in (but not limited to) Transdisciplinary Environmental Studies. I am active members of: the Environmental Action Network at the University of Regina, Regina Public Interest Research Group, and (supposedly) the URSU sustainability committee. I am a student researcher for the climate change theme area working group of the RCE (Regional Center for Expertise) Saskatchewan, a United Nations University Education for Sustainable Development initiative. I am also the Prairie's Sustainable Campuses coordinator for the Sierra Youth Coalition. My premises are based on my current interpretation of how to conserve the future for our children, and are always evolving. Trees for our children is a metaphor for a needed awareness of how our lifestyles will affect future generations. [Regina is a city in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada] I have a six month old daughter, worth fighting for a better tomorrow for. I never want to imply I have all the answers, but I wish to speak from my heart and share my honest view of the actions affecting my life and that of my family.
