| Introduction | I enjoy long walks on the beach, uphill skiing, shaving roadkill, and throwing barbies out of my dorm window at people. Right now I am reading a book called "Dictionary", it is written by some Webster fellow. I don't know his full name, that must be his pen name. I'm almost done with chapter J, and I must say that the book is not nearly as good as i thought it was going to be. There seems to be no plot at all, the characters are hard to follow and keep straight, and i have to look up the meanings to a lot of the words (which are conveniently stored in the book itself). Overall, i think the book just seems like a bunch of random pieces of information thrown together in no particular order. Although i have heard many great things about the book, i did not judge it by its very plain cover, and i bought it, only to be very disappointed. This book makes me wish i had three hands so i could give it three thumbs down. |
