| Introduction | As the population increases and the country becomes more industrialised, the use of nuclear energy for power generation seems inevitable. Malaysia, for one, cannot continue to depend on gas and coal to produce power. Both are depleting resources. I have therefore set up this blog to invite public opinion on the issue. We know that many countries, including Korea, Japan and France have been using nuclear energy for many years now. They are safe, cheap and environment-friendly. I must make it clear that this site is interesting only in nuclear energy for power generation. It is NOT for propogating the use of nuclear to produce conventional or sophisticated weapons of mass destruction. I believe that as inhabitants of this one and only Planet Earth, each of us have every right to condemn the production, the storage and the use of nuclear weapons against one another. Thanks AMO |
