Introduction	Hi and welcome! I've written poetry, short stories and academic essays. Currently, I am working on a YA fantasy novel MUSIC OF DRAGONS. I have a degree in Writing from Loyola University / N.O. and was a high school English teacher for years. More recently, I have taught academic writing at Donnelly College in Kansas City, Kansas and at Broward College, Coconut Creek, FL. Currently I am pursuing a MFA in Creative Writing from Hofstra University in New York.

Favorite movies	The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (the original trilogy), Harry Potter, The Three Musketeers, Topper
Favorite music	Irish Traditional, Baroque, especially Bach, The Corrs, Fleetwood Mac, and much, much more
Favorite books	James Herriot's books, The Three Musketeers, The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Crystal Cave (Mary Stewart,) The Canterbury Tales, Stories about the Tudors, Non-fiction about English history (especially the Middle Ages or the Tudors), just about anything Irish or Celtic, music theory, music history, Roman history, or anything else that I find interesting.
