| Introduction | Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! I am excited to be joining the SAS middle school team this year. I have spent the last 13 years working in the Baltimore County and Howard County Public School Systems. Prior to becoming a teacher, I spent over 8 years working as a lab technician for the USDA in parasitology. Not only am I excited to be at SAS as a teacher, but I am also the parent of two SAS alumni, Lucas '17 and Mia '19. They are both attending local catholic high schools, and I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for them. Becoming a teacher at SAS is just one small way for me to give back to the school community my family loves so much. On a personal level, I have a dog, Lena, who is spoiled. I am a huge soccer fan, and I spend many weekend mornings with my son, Lucas, watching EPL soccer. We root on our favorite team, Arsenal and got to see them play this summer at FedEx field, which was a wonderful experience. I live right here in Elkridge, and am very active within the CCASTA community. |
