| Introduction | I am a Consultant for the United Nations and a published author. I am also an advocate of anti human trafficking, protection of war children and child education. In my spare time I write stories, mostly about the African continent, which is full of untapped tales. I have written two award-winning novels: 'Nightmare Along the River Nile' - A Story of Twentieth Century Slavery, and 'The Helpers' - An International Tale of Espionage and Corruption. I am currently working on the sequel for 'The Helpers.' |
| Interests | Writing, reading, walking, hiking, socializing. |
| Favorite movies | Too many to list. |
| Favorite music | All types. |
| Favorite books | I would say that the authors that inspired me the most were: Robert Ludlum, Sidney Sheldon, Chinua Achebe, Charles Dickens, Ian Fleming and Erle Stanley Gardner. The other authors that I really like are: Dan Brown, Tom Clancy, John Grisham, James Patterson, Jeffery Archer, David Baldacci, Stieg Larsson and Coben Harlan. I am sure there many others that I haven't come across. I also love to indulge myself in the juicy books by Jackie Collins, Judith McNaught, Danielle Steele and many others. Lately I find myself reading books by unpopular authors who either capture my interest, or are strongly recommended by friends, like: 'The Bookseller of Kabul' by Asne Seierstand, 'Infidel' by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, 'Leap of Faith' by Queen Noor and most recently 'Shantaram' by Gregory David Roberts. |
