I have a wonderful husband who I adore and and one daughter, Eden Hope, whom we adopted from China in July 2007. We also have 2 dogs that we treat like children. If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?
I have absolutely no idea and I don't care. I'm sure my husband knows because his mind is full of useless trivia. He could tell you what clay is made of, when it was first discovered, its most common uses, and other such facts that most people don't care to know. So if you want to know about clay, ask my husband.
