| Introduction | I have been a very independent woman all of my life. Seven years ago I got a mysterious wound on my right ankle and everything that's been done for it has made it worse! Last summer, I had to have my right leg amputated and they really don't know why--every diagnosis has proved wrong. I have perfect health above the knees, no diabetes, no heart problems--nothing. I had to quit my job 2 years ago and that was one of the hardest thing I've had to do I pray I will be able to work again someday. I can't drive right now (hopefully, someday) and I have certainly lost my independence. I know God is working on me and I am a much different person today than I was before this all started! For one thing, I have so much more patience than I had before. But, I miss spontaneity! Five years ago God told me He would heal me--He just didn't say when!! But, I know He will and it will be very miraculous! Until then, I will wait on the LORD and try to be still! |
