Introduction Growing up in Ohio, I was always a little too small to play sports and compete against Jesse Owens (haha I'm not THAT old!) John Havlicek, Jack Nicholaus, and the 5'5" midget Jim Tressel playing QB at Baldwin-Wallace. But I loved watching them grow and hit their stride and i always had my hand in announcing their feats. I moved to New York and I got my first taste of being a beat reporter when I covered Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle chasing Babe Ruth's homerun record. That began a love affair with sports and the personalities that define the games, which is as strong as ever today. I started Flash Sports Tonight to fill a void that has been missing in sports coverage, and to give up-and-coming talent like Jock, Vinny, and Anita a forum to develop their own voices.
