Air Ambulance Blogger
My blogs
| Introduction | Let me start this blog by giving a brief background and credentials. First and foremost, I am a firm believer that fixed-wing (airplane) air ambulances are vastly underutilized service and are a valuable asset for case managers, social workers, and patients. Long distance patient transfers are a necessity for thousands of individuals every single year and I believe that there needs to be better awareness of this small industry of providers. I have worked in the air ambulance industry for over 20 years and my credentials include being a pilot, medic, and working on the operations side of legitimate air ambulance providers. I say legitimate because air ambulance providers are few and far between. I am completely independent of any air ambulance and represent no one. What I have seen over the years and where I believe the industry is headed is what has inspired me to write this blog. I would also like to apologize ahead of time for any bad grammar – being a writer is not on my resume |
