Introduction Hello all. To quote my sister, "My name is Jillian. I live in Holland. My favorite color is yellow. Have a good day sunshine," pretty much sums it up. (Thanks Jonell). Along with that I enjoy many things such as art. architecture. anything to do with photographs - taking them, looking at them, developing them, etc. music. the vdub commercial with john mayer. shoes: chacos, earth, and birkenstocks are most comfy, in my opinion. seasons and seasonings on food. watching sunsets & sunrises. running. travel. people. certain smells: dryer sheets, burnt sugar/marshmallows, campfire smell. crispy leaves in the fall & crunching them underfoot. going barefoot. helping people & having nice & upbuilding conversations. building snowmen. gardening. gardens. fresh bouquets of flowers. quotes. poetry. paisley prints. jokes. kaleidoscopes. flying kites. ice cream. funky and eclectic vintage items. being a twin. i want to live in a society that shares everything...no monies used. ah, peace.
Interests Lot's of things (see above) enjoying life day to day. laughing. volunteering. helping people see the Bible as a source of comfort. reading. smiling. & causing others to smile. growth. taking lots of pictures!
Favorite Movies Elizabethtown, Forrest Gump, Step Up, The Guardian, The Notebook, Remember the Titans, Glory Road, The Truman Show, 10 Things I Hate About You, Chocolate, Big Fish, Finding Forrester, The Princess Bride, Finding Nemo, Pocahontas, Napoleon Dynamite, Save the Last Dance, The Lion King, etc.
Favorite Music Oh my, I like a little bit of everything. Music that inspires me to paint, sing, puts me in my happy place, creates emotions, and makes me wonder. Coldplay, Dave Matthews & his band, Mae, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Matt Wertz, BNL, Damien Rice, Death Cab for Cutie, El Reik, Frou Frou, Natalie Merchant, India Aire ....and the beat goes on : )
Favorite Books are ones you can't put down. just keep reading...forever. Something like The Fred Factor, Tuesday's with Morrie, any written by Dr. Suess and more. My ultimate favorite is the Bible - it has timeless principles and application for how to live life everyday as a truly HAPPY person with a great HOPE for the future!
