Introduction	I am British, brought up in a small market town in Northamptonshire and amidst the dark satanic mills of Yorkshire. More accurately amidst the old world charm and wild beauty that is Yorkshire. I have lived in the States now for half my life. I work in front of a computer monitor most of the time, so dabbling in a multitude of crafts is my escape. That and my family life, of course!
Interests	Many art forms, the written word, weaving, spinning, knitting, sewing,lace making, glass bead making, gardening etc. etc.
Favorite movies	Honestly, family or children's movies. I so rarely go to the cinema, though I really enjoyed "The Artist". I could watch the original Pink Panther movies over and over...in fact, I do!
Favorite music	I listen to all genres, but I suppose my favorites are nostalgic pieces, such as the theme from the Onedin Line (better known as Khachaturian's Adagio) which always makes me think of my mother. Then in more recent years Leonard Cohen's music can touch a heart string
Favorite books	Diverse, but again children's books like Alice in Wonderland have to be amongst my favorites. I enjoy several female Irish authors, but what I read for light entertainment are murder mysteries!

How tall would you be if you had never cut your fingernails?

As tall as I am now but I would be able to do nothing with my hands.
