Introduction	I am an electronic engineer, employed by the British Antarctic Survey as a meteorologist and electronic technician to operate a suite of science equipment at Halley station in Antarctica. It is a temporary contract, offering me an opportunity to experience adventure and life in one of earth's last barren and unexploited regions. This blog aims to capture my experiences from start of training in Sept 2007 right through to returning to the UK in 2009.
