| Introduction | Full name: Sandra Maria Meers High School: Grand Centre Regional, Middleton Regional Under-graduate: Acadia University: BA (Economics) Current residence: Lequille, N.S. My parents often tell me they chosen the name Sandra so that I wouldn’t be tagged with a nickname (didn’t think that one out well!!). Over time, I’ve had the obvious, Sandy and Sam. I chose the pen name of Sandee, as I use it as a screen name for various applications. I am married, not churched, happily for 16years to a man I met 25 years ago We have been together steadily and have come through some very traumatic events and have weathered those times fantastically and coming out the other side stronger and closer as a result. If I had have given you a synopsis of how I expected my life to go 35 years ago, it would have read something like this: Married happily with eight children. Living in some obscure community in Nunavut, 4 dogs , a coop full of chickens ( haven’t ruled out that particular element, yet!) I am currently ecstatically happy with my two beautiful step-daughters, three handsome grandsons. (My life lights up tremendously when one of them calls out Nannie). |
