Introduction	I've been a dressmaker and designer for most of my life; since retirement, I've taken up quilting. If you've enjoyed the quilts on my blog, you might be interested to know that I will be busy giving a few talks about quilting later this year: Quilters' Guild Day at Saltash Baptist Church, Cornwall, on Saturday, 2 November at 10 a.m.; Goosey Quilters in the Methodist Hall, Tavistock, Devon, on Thursday, 7 November at 7.30 p.m.; Burton Art Gallery & Museum, Bideford, on Wednesday, 20 November at 7.30 p.m. See my May 2013 blog post called Talks in Autumn/Winter 2013 for more details.
