How is an ankle unlike a consequence?
An ankle is unlike a consequence because it first of all not only follows something (the leg), but it also cooperatively leads the foot along with the leg. Second of all, it is always physical. Third, it can always be changed to lead somewhere else, as opposed to being stuck in history.
