| Introduction | I discovered roller derby through my husbands ol' high school chum. She hobbled up to me at my wedding, her leg in a brace and said, "It will change your life." Boy how right she was! I started skating when I was 20 and it became my passion to bring roller derby to the Upstate of South Carolina. Now five years later there are 2 leagues in my town and 7+ leagues in the state. After quietly retiring from roller derby I am searching for something to fill that void. |
