About me

Introduction	I teach 2nd grade at Cherry Park Elementary in Portland, Oregon. This is my sixth year at Cherry Park. My first four years were spent teaching all-day kindergarten before I moved up to 2nd grade for the 2012-13 school year. I love teaching 2nd grade! My students are so enthusiastic about what we're learning and they are so much fun! I am a graduate of the University of Oregon and George Fox University. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love sports and am a HUGE fan of the Ducks (of course!), New England Patriots, Portland Trailblazers and San Francisco Giants. You'll find lots of proof of that in my classroom! I also enjoy reading, watching movies and scrapbooking.
