Introduction I took up knitting out of sheer boredom in November 2008 and have really come to love it. I try to add a new technique with every project and have learned many new skills and finished some awesome things. I will knit for you. If you buy the yarn, I will make whatever you want and we can negotiate over the labor costs. I can even help you decide on patterns, yarn choices and colors! I'm Virginian born and raised, originally from Virginia Beach, high school in Fairfax County, UVA for college, now living in Alexandria. Though Virginia has been my home all my life, I love to travel and have lived in France and Germany. Right now I'm still in the place where I'm trying to supress my Peter Pan Syndrome and become a grown up. Some days it works, some days it doesn't.
Interests German Shepherds, the New York Yankees, France & French stuff
Favorite Movies Anything that will make me laugh. I rarely like the oscar winners and favor the ones that are just plain entertaining. I think a lot as it is, I don't want to have to think much when being entertained.
Favorite Music I'm very eclectic. I like rock, alternative, country, pop, opera, classical. Pretty much anything except death metal.
Favorite Books I absolutely adore the #1 Ladies Detective Agency series. They're lovely to read and have such a great morality to them. That and Alexander McCall Smith has to be one of the most adorable people on the face of the earth.

Foxes are clever and tigers are cunning. So, what's your cat's safety school?

If I had a cat, its safety school would be NoVa or Tech because cats suck. My dog's safety school is Harvard, but she would much prefer Columbia.
