| Introduction | Robert Christopher Watson was first influenced in the visual arts by: his late mother, Barbara Watson, who for a time modeled in New York; his oldest brother, Steven Watson, who was a hobbyist photographer; and his father who always encouraged him to use a camera during family vacations. Robert’s main style of photography is a blend of photojournalism with an imaginative eye. He is most famous for using combining various techniques, lighting, colors, and concepts to develop bold yet simple images that often have a story of their own. His eye for aesthetics and ability to use sound judgment in implementing out-of the-box ideas have afforded Robert with the ability to portray his subjects with style and classiness. |
