| Introduction | I walked into a camera store in the 80's and said "I want a better camera than this", showing him my little Kodak instamatic. I walked out with a Fujica SLR and a 70-210 Tamron lens and so began my journey with photography. I now use a Canon 7D with various lenses and enjoy many types of photography. My favorite will always be landscapes as I enjoy being there at the moment and seeing the light break or the colours emerge. More recently I have begun experimenting with the use of textures to enhance photos and have begun to make my own textures. My textures are created with the use of mediums such as texture paste and coloured with anything from coffee, onion skins, crayons or paint. These textures are then blended and brushed in photoshop to create different effects. I used coffee for the first textures I made and so I have called my new texture adventure: Coffee Pot Textures.
