Introduction	The College Republicans at RWU is one of 7 College Republican Chapters operating on campuses throughout the state of Rhode Island. We are the strongest College Republican Chapter of the College Republican Federation of Rhode Island and received the CRFRI's first Chapter of the Month award in September 2007 and received the Club of the Month award in September 2008 on campus. After the re-establishment of the club in 2006, the club has more than doubled in members and frequently hosts conservative speakers and events on the Roger Williams Campus. But we do not stop on campus, we have recently returned from Washington D.C. where we attended the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) for the 3rd year annually. In the fall of 2006 and 2008, the club campaigned hard for both local, state, and national republican elections. In the past we have campaigned and helped elect Rep. Steve Coaty in Newport. The club consists of 4 elected Executive Board Members, as well as several appointed positions, and a larger student membership.
