Introduction A pianist since the age of 5 - I studied with the legendary Sari Biro (Hungarian pianist), received degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Indiana University, went on to play concerts in many cities of the world, also becaming piano soloist with the New York City Ballet (under the direction of George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins, also working with Leonard Bernstein). Lived in Europe for many years, where I worked with other many well-known dancers, including the great Rudolph Nureyev, participating in many international galas.
Interests Listening to music, playing the piano, playing chamber music, reading, writing, conversing with friends, walking, (not running!), films, eating in excellent restaurants
Favorite Movies Gone With the Wind, E.T., Julie and Julia, An Officer and a Gentleman, Absence of Malice, Sophie's Choice, All the President's Men, North by Northwest, Strangers on a Train, Vertigo, To Kill a Mockingbird, Fred and Ginger movies, to name a few.
Favorite Music Most of the solo piano repertoire, chamber music w/violin or cello, Michael Jackson songs and dance videos, Stravinsky's Firebird, Tschaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty and Nutcracker, Serenade, Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, Ravel's Piano Concerto in G Major, etc.
Favorite Books I like biographies or autobiographies of well-known artists and personalities, Agatha Christie mysteries, P.G. Wodehouse (stories of Jeeves), Alexander McCall Smith (The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agenay, Sunday Philosophy Club, 44 Scotland Street)
