Introduction	Looking out over all these waves makes me feel like I'm not alone. I know I am but if i just tell myself I'm not I will forget I know. Look at these ghosts these "so called" people walking this boardwalk tonight. It soothes my soul just to know the sun is going down on this Alabama town. I used to sing on the corner for the people as they go. I never stole anyone's heart, but some could say that I stole the show. You could find that guy, you could find my ghost, in the shadows and the neon lights. Apparitions in the smoke, he's not that far he's just lost in the crowd. It was the dawn of a brand new decade and I was surrounded by twenty one thousand folks all around my age, seeking a God that I longed to know. So I stood up from my chair and I prayed an honest prayer "God take my life and be my king" and just like that I was set free. Forgiveness is at my fingertips. Forgiveness is right where i lost my mind. Looking at everything I have done its hard to believe that I am the same guy I was a year ago, so much has changed. God I thank you for what You have done, remove these blinders from my eyes. It soothes my soul just to know that the Son died and rose for this Alabama town...
