| Introduction | Hi, I’m John and I will be writing the Coaster Chat series for Hidden Amusements. Since 2017, I have been a ride operator at the Columbus Zoo and started working at Cedar Point last fall. As a Resort and Attraction Management student at Bowling Green State University, I will be working this summer in Cedar Point’s Safety Department. I have been interested in roller coasters and thrill rides for as long as I can remember, recently documenting my love for them on my Instagram page, Germie’s Coaster Yard. I look forward to writing about different topics in the interest of teaching and learning more about what makes these rides so beloved! |
