| Interests | I like to spend weekends switching off from my business by watching films back to back, preferably with a bottle of good Rioja or Cava. This might be broken up by walks in the Peak District, with Harry the Basset Hound, or riding on Herbie, my adopted-on-Monday's horse. And when I'm not doing that, I'm reading. |
| Favorite movies | That is such a hard question! Anything I can immerse myself in, although you can't beat a good Japanese horror film. |
| Favorite music | Depends what mood I'm in. Artists that have struck a chord this year include Paloma Faith, The Hurts and Falguni Pathak. |
| Favorite books | I've read so many. My favourite books this year have been by the Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie - 'Half of a Yellow Sun' and 'Purple Hibiscus'. |
