| Introduction | Self-taught jewelry designer; obsessive, so that's ok; and new to blogging. I once made the mistake of listing my hobbies as "sewing, reading, and drawing" while interning at a male-heavy site. Hoo boy! At the next site, I listed them as "rock-climbing, mountain-biking, and kick-boxing." I fit right in. But that was a long time ago. I'm much more secure now. Today I juggle a day job with raising a precocious daughter who really does like rock climbing and a soon-to-be-launched jewelry store selling my designs. My daughter is the "Naiad" in its name, and this blog is my attempt to connect with other like-minded kick boxers over the fun and pitfalls of launching a small business. I'm looking forward to the conversation! |
