About me

Introduction	Sammie was born on September 20, 2004. She came from Double L Bar Ranch in Oklahoma & was shipped to us at about 9 1/2 weeks old, right before Thanksgiving. (She weighed just 9 lbs.) She was my birthday present! She's been such a loving dog and always wants to be with us. She loves to play with the kids and is very gentle. She is obedient most of the time (always obedient if she knows I have treats!) and as most female dogs, she listens to me (her #1 master) more than anyone else. Before having the pups she weighed 60 lbs. Her parents were 55 lbs (mom - black lab) and 45 lbs (dad - rusty standard poodle). Her mom is still at Double L Ranch & is still in their breeding program. Oh! I almost forgot to mention that Sammie's grandmother is a search & resuce dog. Great genes!
