| Introduction | Studied Geography, Psychology, and Statistics at Strathclyde University, before switching to Fine Art. Gained a BA(hons) in sculpture from Bath Academy of Art followed by Diploma in Bronze Casting and Foundry Practice at the Royal College of Art, London. Established an Art bronze foundry in Yorkshire in mid 70's. Married potter Christine Poole in 1977 and together set up Barnbarroch Old School Workshop in Galloway, SW Scotland. Diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) in 2004 and had Bone Marrow Transplant in 2009. And survived! |
