| Introduction | My wife is my life. My three daughters are the product of and also my life. My 7 Grandsons are my legacy. My Job was a means to the life my wife and I have made and now retirement let's us enjoy the fruits of our labour. I can be a bit sarcastic and use this to my advantage when necessary. That must be why I identify with Jack O’Neil from TV’s Stargate. I learned early in marriage that arguments are futile from the male perspective. I learned early in my working life that mud flows downhill and sometimes ineptness gets promoted. If I could have one possession from my youth it would be my orange 1973 MGBGT. From birth to present I would not change a thing. To do so would change me and I like who I am. Being of Scottish decent Outlander feels like home. The actual Battle of Brittan to me defined teamwork. Air Museums and Art Institutes are serene places for me. To sit in a Spitfire fighter would be a religious experience, to fly in one, Heaven. Anytime with my wife is the best of times. The weekend is a glimpse of retirement no more. Golf has been spoiled by the price to play. |
