Introduction	Clay, of the earth. My profession? I am a soil scientist, hence, my alter-ego, Dr. Dirt. But what I hope defines me is not my profession, but my faith in Christ, which defines who I am, not what I am. This is why I sign my emails with "... to live is Christ" from Philippians 1:21. I have a marvelous wife, Sherilyn, my bride since 1984, and four talented, intelligent, wonderful children: Jesse, Josiah, Janae, and Joel. Cody is our "extra" son, since he was essentially orphaned at eighteen in his senior year of high school. I want to be remembered as one who worshiped in spirit and in truth, through the writings and songs I leave behind, and by God's grace, a legacy of faith to my children, as well.
