| Introduction | I'm a lover of diversity with an insatiable sense of curiosity about people, about life. My career path speaks to this as I've worked as a swim coach, hospital recruiter, project coordinator, mental health children's case manager, substance abuse counselor,crisis screener and my last, group counselor at a school for expelled students. I never settled in one place or into one relationship either. My friends think of me as a rolling-stone kind of person. I've written one book, Adventures in Mother-Sitting, a memoir of 3 years as my mom's full-time Care Bear. I loved the entire process of writing, including those times that I threw my pages into the garbage can! At present, I'm finding my way again, "following threads of connection" is the phrase that fits.I also like to explore and muse about spirituality, beyond religion. I'm fond of the concept of synchronicity. |
