Introduction In 1996 I read Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way" and became inspired that MAYBE I could paint. In 1997 I took an oil painting class in Beaumont, California with A. Goodman. I joined the San Gorgonio Pass Artist's Association and Hemet Valley Art Association and won many awards in juried shows with my landscape and seascape paintings. I have been a member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts since 2000. In 2006 my husband and I moved to New Mexico and I joined the Rio Grande Art Association and New Mexico Art League. I took a plein air painting workshop entitled "Enchanted Landscapes" with David W. Mayer April 22-24, 2010 in Albuquerque. I continue to be a member of the New Mexico Art League, I am a participating artist with an online art group "Let's Paint New Mexico", and a participating artist with the online #TwitterArtExhibit. I am on a "journey" and invite you to come along with me in finding those colorful, beautiful, intriguing and wonderfully enriching nuggets along the way that make the adventures through life worth the struggle, hardships and pain. As Julia Cameron says "Creativity is God's gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to God."
