| Introduction | Aloha, Pamela Tumpap here and my passion is helping people, small businesses, sustainable efforts, and gardens grow. I am blessed to do each of these in my work (as President of the Maui Chamber of Commerce) and spare time, as well as live in beautiful Maui, Hawaii. My love of gardens and exterior decorating was inspired by my fiancé, Brian, the owner of Island Landscape, who builds amazing outdoor spaces. I am continually fascinated by his work and eager to learn, although not the green thumb he is. On a rushed and tad hectic trip to Washington, Brian and I accidentally stumbled upon The Manito Gardens. Instantly relaxed, we explored the different gardens and vowed to create something like it on Maui for residents and visitors to enjoy. It took a few years, but The Aloha Garden of Maui (a botanical garden and sustainable ag tourism business) is being built in Kula, Maui. While designing and decorating for our garden, I began sharing products with others and serving as an Exterior Decorator, adding special touches to their gardens as well. My goal is to keep sharing ideas and simple steps to help people add more beauty into their life and adore garden living as much as I do. |
