Introduction	Life has always been kind to me. I grew up in a sheltered environment. I had everything I wanted. The smooth sail extended to my adulthood. When I graduated, I started working in a bank almost immediately. My passion for the job shined through. At the age of 25, I was a Branch Manager. The youngest anyone had heard of. While I worked hard for the money, I pampered myself well too. I travel to London every year to shop in summer. I drive a respectable continental car and I had a swanky apartment in Tanglin. I was living a dream. I know I have been very blessed. I had never taken anything for granted. In June 2008, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer. My world has not collapsed. I continue to count my blessings. I will win the battle. My name is Shandy, I am 30 years old. I am not trying to be a Superhero. I do not intend to save the world with this blog. I just want to share some of my thoughts as I journey through one of life’s greatest lesson.
