Your bow is not broken but you've run out of arrows. How can you fake being a bard?
LOL, what a funny and random question. I never pass an opportunity to laugh, so I'm going to answer. How would I fake being a bard in a situation as stated in the question. I would simply, in the middle of all the action. Place one foot upon a small boulder and start to below out a song, to help aid my fellow fighters in moral and pray no one catches on tot he fact, that I'm a fake.
