| Introduction | On January 5, 2014 my life changed forever. My twelve year old daughter Taylor Scout Smith died. Taylor was passionate about God and left behind a wealth of musings in journals and other formats. One very special letter she wrote to her future self went viral taking Taylor's love for God around the world. Taylor had been greatly impacted by the scripture in Phillipians 2:14-15 "Do all things without complaining and disputing that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world." We have been encouraged that her life was like a similar passage in Daniel 12:3 "Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever." Our prayer is that you would see a life that was righteous or rather wanted to see the world "rightly" as God sees it and thus know Him like Taylor knows him. |
