About me

Introduction As a 30 year old working mother of two, time is something there is never enough of! However, making homemade baby food is something that is important to me as a mother. I grew up NEVER liking or eating veggies and my theory is that my negative association with veggies came from a childhood where I started with the dark, dingy, room temperature peas, carrots, and such. When I contrast that experience to the vibrant, warm veggies that I can make at home for my children - it seems like a no brainer. They TASTE GOOD! Many think i'm crazy for doing this and am taking on too much, but my first reason for this post is to share some simple ways to make this process go faster (and prove that I'm not crazy)! Second, even though I've already gone through the baby feeding process with one child and I am on #2 - I do not remember ANYTHING regarding the timing of what to feed a baby when! Many of my friends have asked me "When did baby M do this? When did baby M eat that?" Well, I cant tell you or them if he was 12 months old or 7 when he had meat for the first time... its all a blur. I offer no value what so ever. I am documenting it this time!
