| Introduction | I am a wife, mother and responsible pet owner when I am not an elementary school librarian. I have always dreamed of writing my own children's book and have started working on several book ideas recently. Most of my ideas revolve around my love for my daughters, Brennyn and Lauren. |
| Interests | In my spare time, I like to read, scrapbook, work in the yard, workout at the gym, but most of all, I like to spend time in my home with my family. |
| Favorite Movies | I love anything about World War II and so many of my favorite movies take place during that time period. Among my favorite movies are "Life is Beautiful", and "Schindler's List". I also enjoy sweet love stories like "When Harry Met Sally" or "Sleepless in Seattle". |
| Favorite Music | I guess my favorite type of music is country but I like pop a lot, too. I switch back on forth on my car radio from 96.3 to 93.1. Some of my favorite recording artists are Carrie Underwood, Brooks and Dunn, Brad Paisley and John Michael Montgomery. |
| Favorite Books | Wow! Where do I begin? I loved "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass" as a child. "The Great Gatsby" and "An American Tragedy" were favorites from high school. Then I began reading fiction for children when I became a librarian. I have too many favorites to mention but a few all-time greats would include "I Love You the Purplest", "December", "The Mightiest Heart", "The Rough-Face Girl", "The Hundred Dresses" and "Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key". Great, great books with REAL characters. |
