| Introduction | REV. DR. COLIN HURT Family: Dr. Hurt and his wife, Julia, have four children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren Previous Ministry: Dr. Hurt has a total of fifty-five years in ministry. He and his wife, Julia, were involved in five years of missionary service in West Malaysia from 1978 to 1983. More recently the Hurts served a further eight years as missionaries in Malaysia from 1995-2003. Ten years were spent teaching as a full time faculty member in the Assemblies of God Bible College in England (1983-1988, 1990-1994). He has also been involved in itinerant teaching ministry, visiting 29 countries.In 1998 Colin and Julia helped to set up a Church Planting Institute in Cambodia. The graduates have established over 300 churches in all the provinces of Cambodia. For five years the Hurts pastored a church in Aberaman, South Wales. In 2008 they resigned from the church to return full time to missions. From May 2015 to May 2016 Colin was principal of the Bible College of Wales in Swansea. Now the Hurts have returned full time to missions in SE Asia and other nations. |
