Introduction Ms. Bossert has been published by 50 diocesan papers since her conversion to the Catholic Church in 2005. She is the daughter of a Protestant minister and grew up in the state of Iowa. Following her father's death in 2003, she went on a search for answers to the question of suffering. She found answers in the writings of St. John of the Cross.
