| Introduction | I taught elementary school for 30 years. I'm still a teacher at heart, but now I want to teach and share through my writing. I also write to share my journey of losing my sight.While the increments of lost sight are usually small, the challenges and adaptations I must make are tremendous. I hope reading about my experiences and successes will encourage and inspire others with challenges to never give up! I am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and Children's Book Insider. I am also a Board Member of the Atlanta chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. |
| Interests | I love reading and writing, I design and sell jewelry, enjoy meeting new people and spending time with the ones I already know! |
| Favorite Books | Most any picture book or middle grade book. In adult fiction I loved Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford, and lots of mysteries and thrillers. |
