| Introduction | I started out in the staffing business while I was a student at the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1965. I had many positions with this staffing company and after 9 years I decided it was time to open up my own staffing company. So, in 1974 I started Labor World with my partner and a $25,000 loan. My first office was in a basement of a 52 flat apartment building in a working-class neighborhood. We had an aggressive business plan and by 1996 Labor World had 175 offices throughout the United States with sales close to a billion dollars. I decided that the time was right to sell the business and move on to other endeavors. I quickly missed being in the staffing business and so I started to work with my nephew’s staffing company as their sales coach. I am still as passionate about the staffing business as I was back in 1965 and would like to put my passion to work for you. |
