Introduction	My name is Ryan Houchin. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I started freerunning in January 2007 after watching a video on YouTube of a popular freerunning team called "3run". I started training the next day in the park with a friend of mine, and was instantly in love with the sport. I began training every day on my own or with friends. One year after I began training I met a guy named Paul Darnell. Little did I know I would soon be part of his team, "Tempest Freerunning". I would see the Tempest guys training at the gym and I would often join them. Three months later I was officially asked if I wanted to join the team. My reply took no hesitation... "Yes I do" whereupon Paul leapt off the couch and tackled me in a huge bear huge and screamed, "Welcome to Tempest!" and the rest is history.
