| Introduction | I am the mom of two amazing children, a wife to a fabulous man, and a child of a very gracious God. I have combined my love for teaching and my love for my children in a fabulous homeschooling adventure. I have been teaching, at some level (elementary, university, even preschool) for 25 years. I have a B.A. in English/Spanish, an M.Ed. in Elementary Education/Reading, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction/Social Studies. I am passionate about educating young people. Our "school" is named Frontier West. Our mascot is the Cowboys. WE ARE THE FRONTIER WEST COWBOYS! I am passionate about a number of other things, too: finding a cure for Alzheimer's Disease (it runs in my family, and I don't want it), ending abortions, keeping America's youth "on track", connecting with other moms whose plates are full, and worshiping God. |
