| Introduction | Like all humans I am a paradox, but I like to think of myself as a pragmatic environmentalist. On one hand I believe that humans should do all that is possible to preserve the environment and the Earth's biodiversity, but on the other hand I accept that we need certain primary industries, such as mining, farming etc to maintain or improve our standard of living. Therefore environmental protection is all about balance! |
| Interests | Wildlife, the environment, archaeology (yes I originally did an archaeology degree), history and culture. |
| Favorite movies | Self confessed fantasy/sci Fi fan, so: Harry Potter, Stargate, Star Wars, Chronicles of Narnia etc! |
| Favorite music | Depends on my mood. Baroque classical to intellectually work or relax with, Rock and Blue grass to physically work (and work out) or drive with. |
| Favorite books | As per my films, but I am also a big fan of historical fiction (but not the romance type). |
